VINCENNES, Ind. – Originally the Vincennes University baseball team was set to move their Wednesday nine-inning game to Vincennes, Ind. against Olney Central. This game has since been cancelled.


FAIRFIELD, Ill. - Due to inclement weather, the Vincennes University baseball game scheduled for 4 p.m. EDT Tuesday March, 10 against Frontier College has been cancelled with no rescheduling as of this time. The Blazers next look to take on Olney Central tomorrow Wednesday, March 11 at 3 p.m. EDT. This game will be played in Olney, Illinois and is scheduled for nine innings.



The Vincennes University Athletic Department hosts Play4Kay and raises donations for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund annually. VU Women’s Basketball Coach and Athletic Director Harry Meeks has a special connection to the late Yow, who was the longtime coach at North Carolina State. He had the pleasure of meeting her while he was an assistant coach at Western Carolina University. This left a lasting impression on him and made this cause important to him and the Trailblazers.

Trailblazer Scholarship fund - The VU foundation awarded $970,242.80 scholarship dollars of the VU Foundation and University funds for the 2017-18 school year to incoming and returning VU students.  These included awards to students from 8 states across the country and 3 international awards.

The VU Foundation currently manages over 525 scholarship and department funds, with 247 news funds created in just the last 9 years.
