This program provides the first two years of foundation study in the visual arts. Upon degree completion, you can transfer credits to a bachelor degree program for more specialized study in a variety of areas. These include painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, drawing, and photography. This program may lead to related areas such as arts administration, art history, film, computer graphics, museum, and gallery work, just to name a few.

This curriculum provides the first two years of foundation studies in visual art which are intended to transfer as the first two years at other institutions that offer degrees in various specialized studio majors, such as painting, ceramics, printmaking, sculpture, photography. This program may lead to additional, related fields, such as animation, filmmaking, computer graphics, art therapy, art history, arts administration, museum work, teaching, model making, prototype building, display design, and other art-related careers.
