Academic Search Premier (Ebsco):  A great starting point for any type of research.  Access to 3,900 full-text peer reviewed journals and 4,600 total full text journals on topics from all academic disciplines.  MyVU login required for off campus access.  Also available to Indiana residents through INSPIRE.

Acts of the Indiana General Assembly:   The Indiana General Assembly website. As one of three co-equal branches of state government, the General Assembly is responsible for enacting the laws by which the state of Indiana is governed. The intent behind this website is to afford the opportunity to better understand the operation of the General Assembly and its impact.

Agricola:  Online catalog and index to the NAL (National Agricultural Library) collections.  Covers all aspects of agriculture and includes tens of thousands of AGRICOLA records that contain links to full-text resources on the web.

Applied Science and Technology Source (Ebsco) - Nearly 1200 full-text journals on topics including: applied mathematics, chemistry, engineering, geology, machinery, information technology, robotics, the food industry and more.  MyVU login required for off campus access.

Business Source Complete (Ebsco):  The world's definitive scholarly business database, providing the leading collection of bibliographic and full text content. As part of the comprehensive coverage offered by this database, indexing and abstracts for the most important scholarly business journals back as far as 1886 are included. Business Wire News (Ebsco):  Formerly Regional Business News.  Incorporates 75 business journals, newspapers and newswires covering all metropolitan and rural areas within the United States.  MyVU login required for off campus access.  Also available to Indiana residents through INSPIRE..

Career and Technical Education Collection (Proquest):  Access to over 500 full-text journals and trade publications on topics including: computer science, healthcare, building trades, auto mechanics, sales & retail, accounting, graphic design, photography, and more.  MyVU login required for off campus access.

Catalog of U.S. Government Publications:  Finding tool for electronic and print publications from the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of the U.S. government.  Provides direct access to the publications that are available online.

Census.gov:  Key source for demographic, economic, and health data about the United States.

CINAHL Plus with Full Text (Ebsco):  Cumulative Index to Nursing & Allied Health Literature including access to 770 full-text journals, 275 books and monographs, evidence-based care sheets, quick lessons, and more.  MyVU login required for off campus access.

Congress.gov:  The official website for United States federal legislative information, replacing THOMAS as of July 2016.  Presented by the Library of Congress.

CQ Researcher Online (CQ Press):  Provides up-to-date, unbiased information on issues in the news.  Topics include: health, social trends, criminal justice, international affairs, education, the environment, technology, and the economy.  MyVU login required for off campus access.

Credo Reference:  Full-text articles from nearly 800 reference eBooks on topics including: art, food & beverage, language, medicine, psychology, social sciences, biographies, geography, law, music, religion, technology, business, history, literature, philosophy, and science.  MyVU login required for off campus access.

EBSCO eBook Business Collection:  EBooks are selected for this collection to assist students and scholars with various business research, special project and entrepreneurial needs, and to help students understand general business concepts. EBSCO eBook Community College Collection: The Ebsco eBook Community College Collection offers over 40,000 books from a variety of publishers. These books are non-fiction, selected to help students do research for school work or personal interest. Entrepreneurial Studies Source (Ebsco):   A tool for business students and researchers, providing the latest insight on topics relevant to entrepreneurship and small businesses. Military & Government Collection (Ebsco):  Current news pertaining to all branches of the military, this database offers a thorough collection of periodicals, academic journals and other content pertinent to the increasing needs of those sites. This collection provides cover-to-cover full text for nearly 300 journals and periodicals and offers indexing and abstracts for more than 400 titles. Military and Intelligence Database Collection (Gale):  Composed of content from over 400 journals, which covers all aspects of the past and current state of military affairs. National Criminal Justice Reference Service:  Free access to criminal justice information sponsored by the U.S. Department of Justice and the Executive Office of the President.  Topics include: corrections, courts, crime, crime prevention, drugs, justice system, juvenile justice, law enforcement, and victims.

Newspaper Source Plus (Ebsco):  Cover-to-cover full-text for more than 40 national and international newspapers, 330 full-text regional newspapers, full-text TV and radio news transcripts from CBS, CNN, CNN International, Fox, and NPR.  MyVU login required for offcampus access.  Also available to Indiana residents through INSPIRE.

Nursing and Allied Health Collection (Gale) :  Contains over 6 million articles suitable for research at all levels of nursing and allied health.  Free for Indiana Residents.  INSPIRE login required for out-of-state access.

Nursing & Allied Health Database (ProQuest) - Abstracting and indexing for over 850 journals, with over 715 titles in full text and more than 12,000 full-text dissertations on topics including: cytology, nursing, nutrition, oncology, pediatric care, pharmacology, public health, and radiology.  MyVU login required for off campus access.

Official Documents of the United Nations:  Access to all types of official United Nations documents beginning in 1993.  Older items are added on a daily basis.  Also provides access to the resolutions of the General Assembly, Security Council, Economic and Social Council, and the Trusteeship Council from 1946 onward.

Pew Research Center:  Provides reports of public opinion polls, demographic research, media content analysis, and other empirical social science research.

Plants Database:  Provided by the USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service.  Includes information on vascular plants, mosses, liverworts, hornworts, and lichens in the U.S. and its territories.  Also includes names, plant symbols, checklists, distributional data, species abstracts, characteristics, images, crop information, automated tools, web links, and references.

Slavery in America and the World: History, Culture, & Law (HeinOnline):  A collection of over 1,000 titles and essential legal materials on slavery in the United States and the English speaking world, including every federal, state, and colony statue dealing with slavery, and all reported state and federal cases dealing with the topic.

Small Business Resource Center (Gale):  Information on how to start, finance, or manage a small business.  Sample business plans, how-to guides, articles, and websites.  Free to Indiana residents through INSPIRE. 

Stats Indiana:  Indiana statistical information provided by more than 100 federal and state agencies, commercial, and private data sources.  Topics include: economics, demographics, industry, education, health care, population, taxes, workforce and unemployment, agriculture and more.
