VINCENNES, Ind. – The Vincennes University Athletic Department welcomes you to join the VU Varsity Club.

The 2021-22 season is welcoming the return of the Trailblazer community filling the stands of the P.E. Complex.  We look forward to having all of your past, present and future fans attend the games.

The Vincennes University P.E. Complex will be home to 32 games, highlighted by the Kiwanis Classic Nov. 5th & 6th, the McDonalds Classic Nov. 12th & 13th for the men and the VU Classic on Nov. 19th & 20th for the women. VU will host Region 24 rivals John A. Logan and Wabash Valley on Saturday, December 11th and Saturday, December 18th respectively.

Todd Franklin, Hall of Fame Head Men's Basketball Coach, will be entering his 12th season at the helm for the Trailblazers. Last season, Coach Franklin led the Blazers to the NJCAA National Tournament for ninth year in a row, setting a new NJCAA record. The Blazers were ranked as high as No. 6 in the country this past season. VU finished the season with a 17-7 record, with Justin Archer garnering All-American Honors in the process.

Head Women's Basketball Coach Harry Meeks will be entering his 31st season at Vincennes University. Coach Meeks reached several milestones this past season, started off by being inducted into the NJCAA Women's Basketball Hall of Fame. Coach Meeks also earned his 700^th career win with a 75-66 win over Lincoln Trail on March 13. Coach Meeks also surpassed Hall of Fame Men's Basketball Coach Dan Sparks' record for career wins at VU with his 707^th career win in a 78-74 upset over No. 12-ranked Wabash Valley. The Trailblazer's finished the 2020-21 season with a 17-4 record, which included a 10-game winning streak late in the season.

Please take a look at the brochure on-line for the different breakdowns.  There are three ways to pay.   You can pay by printing of the brochure and mailing to the athletic department.  You can drop by the athletic office and pay for your membership there.  Lastly, you can also pay by clinking on the links below.

The VU men's basketball season tips-off Monday, Nov. 1 vs. Rend Lake at 7 p.m. eastern. The Lady Blazers play their first home game Tuesday, Nov. 9 vs. Jefferson College at 5 p.m. eastern.
