The Vincennes University Foundation is honored to be the recipient of a Toyota Foundation Grant to support Women in STEM Initiatives.
Scholarship Criteria and Awards
With the first awards scheduled for the 2021-2022 academic year, the Women in STEM Scholarship Fund is available to students meeting the following criteria:
- First-time full-time female student
- Enroll in as AS or ASCT degree path in one of the approved STEM majors
- Participate in the Toyota Women in STEM Leadership Series
- Apply for residential housing (French Quarter not included)
- Must be a resident of Indiana or Illinois
- Must have submitted a FAFSA
- Must have a 2.5 cumulative grade point average
The Scholarships are applied as one-year scholarships which will be applied to campus housing costs. One-half of the scholarship will be awarded each semester. The recipient must maintain a 2.5 GPA to receive the second installment for the Spring term.
Awards will be determined by a scholarship committee selected by Vincennes University Foundation. These are last dollar scholarships and no cash refunds are allowed. Award amount is determined by the individual student's financial aid package with a maximum awards of $2,500.
