Biomedical Electronics Technician

Biomedical Equipment Technology involves the study of medical electronic equipment generally found in hospitals and medical clinics. Student learn hospital operations, administration as pertaining to them, medical field safety and operations of biomedical facilities. Primary focus is placed on the installation, repair, calibration and safety testing of medical equipment normally found in hospitals and medical clinics.

Biomedical graduates are employed by hospitals, clinics, contract maintenance companies, and the manufacturers of medical equipment.
