WHAT: High school students will explore surveying and other right of way professions, including appraisers, acquisition agents, relocation agents, real estate attorneys, right of way technicians, right of way managers, and government agency employees through the workshop. Students will have the opportunity to get hands-on experience by preparing a parcel plat and land description, determining a property value, and preparing an offer letter for a property. The workshop offer reporters, photographers, and news crews numerous opportunities to obtain engaging activity stories, photographs, and videos.
