Professor Nettles is an alumni of Vincennes University, where she earned an associate degree in 2004. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in Landscape Horticulture and Design in 2007. Her Master of Science degree is in Crop Science from the University of Illinois.
Professor Nettles began working at Vincennes University in 2015. She was promoted to full-time in the fall of 2017. At VU, Nettles teaches Fundamentals of Horticulture, Landscape Design/Landscape Maintenance, Fundamentals of Turfgrass, Plant Propagation, Greenhouse Management, Hydroponics and Integrated Pest Management. Professor Nettles is also the Advisor for the Horticulture Club.
