Andrew Smith

Andrew Smith is an Assistant Professor in the Geoscience, Agriculture, and Horticulture Department. Andrew rejoined the department in 2020 after having taught at VU previously from 2008 to 2014. He graduated from the University of Southern Indiana in 2004 with a B.S. in Geology and from IUPUI in 2007 with a M.S. in Geology. Andrew's graduate work focused on the hydrology and hydrogeology of a glaciated valley in central Indiana. Since graduating from IUPUI, he has worked in environmental consulting, for a local soil & water conservation district, and for Purdue Extension, in addition to his first teaching stint at VU.
