Military Education Program
Since 1986, Vincennes University Military Education Program has provided learning opportunities to over 100,000 active duty personnel, reservists, guard members, veterans and military dependents. VU offers programming as well as advising services at 11 military site locations and 21 military/public service support sites across the country. VU offers CLEP/DANTES testing in California,Washington, and Nevada. For more information visit our site location pages. VU also provides instructor led course work on deployed US Coast Guard Cutters and is a subcontractor with the US Navy's NCPACE program.

Tuition and Fees Information
2018-19 Military Education Program on-site courses: $225.56 per credit hour.
No Application Fees
There is no application fee to apply to the Military Education Program to attend classes at one of our site locations. If applying as a veteran student to the Vincennes campus or as an online student, the application fee is waived.
Credits for Military Experience
VU awards college credits for your military schooling and occupation specialty. We will also update your evaluation when your military transcripts are updated due to additional schooling or promotion.
Easily Accessible VU Transcripts
Official Vincennes University transcripts sent by traditional mail are free-of-charge. To request electronic delivery of your VU transcript, the cost is $5. For more information, visit the Registrar's Office page.
Unofficial VU transcripts may be viewed through myVU.
If you are taking courses on-site at an MEP location, textbooks may be provided on loan. Ask your local advisor for more information. (This does not apply if you are taking online classes.)
