I began my role as Department Chair at the beginning of the Fall 2023 semester.

I hold a BS degree in Technology and Engineering Education with a Motorsports Marketing Minor, an MS degree in Career and Technical Education, and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with an Industrial Education focus, all of which were earned at Indiana State University.

I have over 11 years of teaching experience in secondary, post-secondary, and industrial education. My teaching experience includes instruction in manufacturing, construction, human resource development, and robotics. I have also provided ESL instruction for Chinese students along with GED courses for female inmates. I had the opportunity to work as a partner with the Vincennes University Aviation Technology program in the past as the Director of the Indiana Super Mileage Challenge. During my time as the Super Mileage Director, I also worked closely with Toyota Motor Manufacturing of Indiana to make the Super Mileage event a great success.

When I first transitioned to VU it was as an instructor in the Amazon Mechatronics and Robotics program on the Vincennes campus. During my two years with the program, I had the opportunity to develop and implement the curriculum and coursework for the current Amazon training pathway that includes SACA certification.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends at the drag strip, racing my rear-engine dragster, and traveling to different race tracks.
