What can I expect during my time at VU?

  • All chemistry majors follow similar curriculum patterns during the first two years of study, therefore expect a seamlessly transfer to 4-year universities.

  • Hands-on use of instrumentation (FT-IR, NMR, GC) as well as the rigorous application of computer-based data acquisition and analysis methods.

  • Lecture classes with 30 students or less, and laboratory with 18 students or less.
