VINCENNES, Ind. – The Vincennes University Foundation is pleased to announce the formation of the Shelia J. Treanor Memorial Scholarship to benefit Vincennes University nursing students. The Sheila J. (O’Donnell) Treanor Memorial Scholarship is being established by her children, Laura, Karen, Diane, Richard, Shelia, Julie, and Cathleen in loving memory of their mother who graduated from nursing school and practiced as a nurse prior to marrying. After raising a family, she returned to college as a non-traditional student to take Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) courses. Her children state, “This scholarship is an opportunity to pay tribute to our mother for the wisdom, guidance and motivation she provided to each of us. She was a source of constant and endearing love and support and she challenged each of us to strive for excellence in all that we undertook. Her expectation was that we should endeavor to reach the fullest measure of our capabilities.”

If selected you will soon receive an email from Gallup inviting you to participate in the survey regarding workplace engagement, overall well being, learning experiences, and alumni reflections. We would greatly appreciate if you could take a few moments to complete the survey. Thank you and stay healthy!
