Early College Housing Scholarships

Vincennes University Takes You Further Faster...

with four new scholarship programs focused on Career and Technical Education/Early College.  You may qualify for either the Full Housing Scholarship or a Half Housing Scholarship based on your student status in CTE/Early college. Check out the requirements below, then contact your Early College or Career Center counselor to apply.  

The priority deadline for application is December 15, 2019. There are a limited number of scholarships available. Complete the application here or under FAQ.

 

2-YEAR FULL HOUSING SCHOLARSHIPS 
(Students must meet the set renewal requirements to receive the funding for each term.)

If you are a student enrolled at a VU Early College Career and Technical Education (CTE) site and you have:

             - Earned a minimum of 6 Early College credit hours
             - Achieved a 3.0+ high school grade point average (GPA)
             - Enrolled in an AS, BS, or an approved Certificate Program

 

2-YEAR HALF HOUSING SCHOLARSHIPS
(Students must meet the set renewal requirements to receive the funding for each term.) 

There are three different half housing scholarships.

1. If you are a student enrolled at a VU Early College Career and Technical Education (CTE) site and you have:

             - Earned a minimum of 6 Early College credit hours
             - Achieved a high school GPA between 2.5 and 2.99

 

2. If you are NOT  a VU Early College student, but you are enrolled in other classes at a VU Early College CTE Site and you have:

            - Achieved a 3.0+ high school GPA

 

3. If you will be a VU Early College associate degree recipient and you:

            - Enroll in a VU Bachelor Degree Program   
            - Achieved a 2.5+ VU GPA

How do I apply for a scholarship?
There are four basic steps to beginning the process:
1. Speak with your advisor/counselor NOW
2. Complete the Housing Scholarship Application
3. Complete the VU application
4. Complete the FAFSA

How does the scholarship work with other grants or scholarships?

What are the bachelor degree options at VU?
Vincennes University offers bachelor degrees in Technology, Homeland Security & Public Safety, RN to BSN, Special Education - Mild Intervention, Secondary Education Math, and Secondary Education Science.
