Vincennes University’s professional licensure and certification programs are designed to prepare students for certification or licensure in the state of Indiana. Licensure and certification requirements vary by state and territory and can often change. Students who either reside in another state or territory or wish to obtain licensure or certification in a state or territory other than Indiana may or may not have additional study, education, or training requirements. More information about these programs and their associated licensures and certifications may be found below.

Online programs offered by Vincennes University that lead to licensure were designed to meet the educational requirements for licensure/certification/employment in the State of Indiana.  Please see the entries below for each licensure program offered by Distance Education for information about pursuing said program while residing outside of the State of Indiana.  If your state of residence or intendend state of employment is listed as an approved state for one of the programs below you may or may not be subject to additional study, education, licensure, or training requirements after completing VU's academic program.

NC-SARA SEAL

Vincennes University is an approved participant in the NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR STATE AUTHORIZATION RECIPROCITY AGREEMENTS (NC-SARA).  NC-SARA has worked with the SARA State Portal Entities (SPEs) and regional compacts to create a Professional Licensure Directory, which provides contact information for five programs that lead to a professional license (not all programs are offered via Distance Education): HTTPS://WWW.NC-SARA.ORG/PROFESSIONAL-LICENSURE-DIRECTORY.
