Employee Wellness Program

The Wellness Program that will be held in the birth month of the insured and will be voluntary. All employee/retirees and their spouses who participate in a VU health insurance plan can complete the Health Risk Assessment, Lab Screening and Results Consultation.

Monday & Tuesday: 7:15am - 6:30pm
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 8am - 4:30pm

Who is eligible to use UPCC?
Employees, retirees, their spouses and their dependents participating in a VU health insurance plan are eligible to use the UPCC

Is there a fee?
The UPCC is provided free of charge to employees, retirees, their spouses and their dependents who participate in a Vincennes University health insurance plan.

Are appointment times noted as sick time?
Employees may go to their scheduled appointments at the UPCC without using sick time.

Proof of plan participation?
Patients (employee, spouse, & dependents) must show their VU Anthem insurance card as proof of plan participation. Bring your insurance card to each visit.

Can I refill all of my prescriptions?
The UPCC does not fill prescriptions written by other providers. Only prescriptions written by a UPCC Provider will be dispensed at the clinic.

Are prescriptions free of charge?
The UPCC may dispense generic drugs to patients free of drugs. The UPCC will not dispense any form of narcotic drugs.

Are lab services provided?
Laboratory services, including blood draws and urine tests, can be completed at the UPCC if ordered by a UPCC Provider. Lab services ordered by other providers must be completed at LabCorp or a lab of your choice that will be billed through your Anthem Insurance. There is no charge for LabCorp.

Are there health services for children?
Our Providers are licensed and trained to treat patients of all ages, including children.

Can UPCC access my previous medical records?
With consent, the Providers should have access to your previous medical records.

How is check-in arranged?
VU students have access to the UPCC, but their waiting area and exam rooms are separate from those for the employees. There will only be limited interaction between employees and student patients.
