The Information Technology-Programming and Game Development Degree provides students with skills in the life-cycle of game development. Students learn how to create and maintain video games on multiple platforms, as well as how to publish and market applications. Students will be introduced to popular and industry-standard tools such as GameMaker, Unity, Blender and 3ds Max.
What's Unique about this Degree: Vincennes University provides students with a unique opportunity to learn how to program without spending the first year talking about theory. Students will start coding the first week of class, and will have developed multiple applications after just the first year.
Good to Know: Coding is coding! This degree has a focus on Game Development, but you will also learn a variety of languages (such as Python, C#, Java) that will allow you to get jobs that are not in the gaming industry!
