Precision Machining Technology Adjunct Faculty – Vincennes, IN

Part-Time

 

The College of Technology at Vincennes University is seeking applicants for an Adjunct Precision Machining Technology instructor. This is a part-time, non-tenure track position reporting to the Precision Machining Program Coordinator and the Dean of Technology.

 

Primary responsibilities:

 

  • Teaching courses in Precision Machining Technology.

  • Working collaboratively within the Precision Machining Department

  • Assessing student progress and submitting grades as required

  • Maintaining lab equipment

  • Other duties as assigned

The successful candidate will have:

 

  • Minimum of Associate Degree in Precision Machining or related field

  • Minimum five years work-related experience

  • Broad range of skills and knowledge of the manufacturing industry, including but not limited to: manual machining, CNC machining, set up and programming

Vincennes University Jasper’s Business Department is seeking applicants to fill the position of Adjunct Faculty in Economics. The part-time position is available beginning in the Fall 2019 semester.

Adjunct & Semester Contract Faculty

The Art and Design department and NASAD-accredited Vincennes University is seeking adjunct higher education faculty and semester contract faculty to teach courses, as assigned, during the 2019-2020 academic year for fall and/or spring semesters.

  • Teaching studio courses in 3D Foundations, Ceramics, and possibly Sculpture.
  • 2D Foundations such as Visual Design and Drawing and/or Art Appreciation for Art History as needed.

Successful candidates will have:

  • Master’s Degree in Studio Art, Fine Arts, Art Education, Art History or related area, preferred
  • College-level lecture and studio course teaching experience
  • Specialization teaching 3D Foundations, with expertise in Ceramics.

Surgical Technology (Adjunct) Vincennes, IN  Part-Time

The Vincennes University American Sign Language & Deaf Studies Program located on the campus of the Indiana School for the Deaf in Indianapolis, Indiana is seeking an Adjunct to teach English Composition courses starting Fall Semester 2019.

CNET 155 - Basic Cyber Crime and Computer Forensics:

This course is designed to provide students with an introduction to specific crimes and investigation techniques within the discipline of digital and cyber forensics. Students will use existing federal, state, and case laws to determine best approaches to processing cybercrimes. Students will complete labs that focus on processing evidence involved in digital and cybercrimes (e.g., workstations, laptops, servers, storage media, smart-phones and smart-devices). Exclusive EC-Council CHFI™ Curriculum is used throughout this course. 3 lecture/laboratory hours.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited institution with a Masters Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security or Information Technology related field with five or more years work experience in the Information Technology field.

Additional Qualifications:  Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator CHFI™ certified or related Cyber Security certifications.

COMP 310 - Managing Information Technology:
This course is designed as an introduction to the financial, technical, and strategic information systems planning process. Emphasis is on the relationship of the information systems planning process to overall business goals, policies, plans, management style, and industry conditions. The selection of large systems projects, assessment of a currently installed system, determining approaches to staffing, software, hardware, processing, and financing an information system are studied. Curriculum from PMI® is integrated throughout the course as students work within the PMBOK® methodologies. 3 lecture/laboratory hours.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited institution with a Masters Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology related field with five or more years work experience in the Information Technology field.
