Dual Credit Crosswalks and FAQ

Indiana Priority Dual Credit Crosswalks and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

The link above, and below, provides access to the Indiana Dual Credit Crosswalks for both Career and Technical Education (CTE) and Liberal Arts (LA) approved priority dual credit courses. These crosswalks provide high schools and career centers with the designated IDOE coursework (course code and title) that directly correlates to the post-secondary institution course information. VU partner schools should utilize the crosswalks to ensure the correct IDOE course number is being reported for VU Project EXCEL dual credit courses. The courses on this crosswalk count toward the Academic and Technical Honors Diploma requirements, and the school's A-F accountability grade.

Please note that these crosswalks are not an exclusive list of all dual credit courses that schools may offer to their students, but rather the courses that have been approved through the Indiana Commission for Higher Education (ICHE) as Priority Dual Credit Courses. If a school has a formal agreement with a college to award dual credit for courses not listed on a crosswalk, students may earn both high school credits and transcripted college credits, as specified in the dual credit agreement. Such courses may not be recognized as approved, priority dual credit courses.

These crosswalks will be updated periodically – please be sure to bookmark the link below to easily access the most current information.
