The Culinary Arts/Pastry program at Vincennes University is one of a kind. My time here has been filled with so many personal connections and relationships, not only with fellow students but also with professors. They really want what is best for you and are always rooting for you. The small size of the classes makes a huge difference. You are not a number. They know your name and make time for you, so you can learn and excel from the program. I have received not only new skills and knowledge, but job opportunities, scholarships, and real-world experience. My experience with the culinary/pastry arts program here at Vincennes University has truly been a dream come true. Ever since I was a kid, it was always a dream and passion of mine to go to school for culinary arts, and the fact that I have not only been able to do this, but have also gotten the chance to form life-long relationships with my classmates, and make memories that will last a lifetime, is an absolute honor. Every week I look forward to my bakeshop class, because I know that no matter what we end up baking that day, I will take away useful skills and tips that I will be able to utilize after graduation, not to mention that every day in the bakeshop is an absolute blast!
