My experience with the culinary/pastry arts program here at Vincennes University has truly been a dream come true. Ever since I was a kid, it was always a dream and passion of mine to go to school for culinary arts, and the fact that I have not only been able to do this, but have also gotten the chance to form life-long relationships with my classmates, and make memories that will last a lifetime, is an absolute honor. Every week I look forward to my bakeshop class, because I know that no matter what we end up baking that day, I will take away useful skills and tips that I will be able to utilize after graduation, not to mention that every day in the bakeshop is an absolute blast! What makes this program so special to me is the small class sizes that allow for me and my other classmates to get that one-on-one experience with chef. Having these small class sizes allows for more creativity in the kitchen, more opportunity to ask questions, and overall more experience being gained. I have absolutely cherished my time in the culinary/pastry arts program here at Vincennes University, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds!
