Was a founding member of the Metro Indianapolis Coalition for Construction Safety. Founded the Construction Prep Academy for Public Schools Construction Curriculum. Co-founded Leadership Grant County (one of the first community-based leadership series in Indiana).

Member, Northview Church, Carmel IN. Board member of Hamilton County Innovation Network. Served on the Board of Trustees of Vincennes University for 14 years (under the appointment of three Governors) with 7 of those years as Chairman of the Trustees.
