Teaching Philosphy/Approach:

I treat our students the way all of us want to be treated, with dignity, respect, and a bit of humor! I listen with open ears and an open mind. I take what they say and do my best to make my office, my position, those around me, and myself better.

Personal Interests:

Outside of work I enjoy crocheting, sewing, and spending time with my husband, out two children, and our soon to be granddaughter.

Why Vincennes University?:

As Director of Student Activities it is my responsibility to make sure our students are engaged on campus. I've been in this role since the fall of 2022. I enjoy working with our students, getting to know them, and learn ways to help better engage them. I do this in my everyday life with my own children and their friends to better myself for our students! In my time in Student Activities I've song karaoke with our students, I've danced with them, I've laughed with them, I've played poker with them. I've played cornhole and other games with them. I've talked with them. I've learned from them more than I can ever teach them! We are currently working on building up the Trailblazer Community across campus. Building a community that helps our students grow; makes them want to stay; makes them want to come back; and more importantly, makes them want to come back and bring the next generation of Trailblazers!
