Jubin Chen started working with VU in January of 2016.  Jubin is the Department Chairperson of the Physics and Engineering Department.  His Bachelor of Science degree is in Engineering Mechanics from Dalian University of Technology China.  There he also obtained his Master’s in Solid Mechanics.  Dr. Chen received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisville.  Here at VU, he teaches Physics, Introduction to Engineering Statics and Dynamics, and Mechanics of Materials.  He advises students with a Mechanical Engineering major.  Jubin is a member of ASEE (the American Society of Engineering Education).
