Partner with Vincennes University

Over the past year, the Cummins Seymour Engine Plant has had a wonderful experience with the Vincennes University curriculum that was set up in partnership with the Jackson County Learning Center. I’ve had 7 different Technicians attend at least 10 sessions of courses in the past year. Everyone has shared very positive feedback upon completion, and we look forward to growing both the variety of coursework and diversity of Technicians and Maintenance personnel attending in 2025.

The workforce needs of even the most successful companies can change rapidly, which is why VU works in close partnership with Amazon to train hundreds of the company’s employees to excel in workplaces where automation and robotics are increasingly common.
