Dubois County Scholastic Excellence Award

JASPER, Ind. - Vincennes University Jasper (VUJ) Foundation has created the Dubois County Scholastic Excellence Award. This full-ride scholarship is available to any 2019 Dubois County graduate with a high school cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Recipients must attend full-time on the Jasper campus during the 2019-20 academic year.

For full consideration, students should first apply for admission at www.vinu.edu/apply and submit their high school transcripts, by May 1.

“I'm grateful for the continued support of the VUJ Foundation to create this important scholarship opportunity for Dubois County students,” said Christian Blome, assistant vice president and dean of VUJ. “This award will allow qualified students to get started on the VUJ campus with no out-of-pocket expenses and without the need for student loans.”

The scholarship includes full tuition (up-to 15 credits per semester) and regularly assessed fees; $500 bookstore stipend per semester for books and supplies; a laptop computer; access to a dedicated study lounge equipped with an interactive collaborate table and Wi-Fi.

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following additional criteria: meet the admissions requirements of Vincennes University Jasper; maintain a semester GPA at VUJ of 2.0 or above; qualify for the in-state tuition rate; and must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.

Complete details about the Dubois County Scholastic Excellence Award are available by contacting the VUJ Admissions Office at 812-481-5918, or VUJCAdmissions@vinu.edu.
