Dubois County Scholastic Excellence Award
JASPER, Ind. - Vincennes University Jasper (VUJ) Foundation has
created the Dubois County Scholastic Excellence Award. This full-ride
scholarship is available to any 2019 Dubois County graduate with a
high school cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
Recipients must attend full-time on the Jasper campus during the
2019-20 academic year.
For full consideration, students should first apply for
admission at www.vinu.edu/apply and submit their high school
transcripts, by May 1.
“I'm grateful for the continued support of the VUJ Foundation
to create this important scholarship opportunity for Dubois County
students,” said Christian Blome, assistant vice president and dean of
VUJ. “This award will allow qualified students to get started on the
VUJ campus with no out-of-pocket expenses and without the need for
student loans.”
The scholarship includes full tuition (up-to 15 credits per
semester) and regularly assessed fees; $500 bookstore stipend per
semester for books and supplies; a laptop computer; access to a
dedicated study lounge equipped with an interactive collaborate table
and Wi-Fi.
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the
following additional criteria: meet the admissions requirements of
Vincennes University Jasper; maintain a semester GPA at VUJ of 2.0 or
above; qualify for the in-state tuition rate; and must complete the
Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
