February 13, 2018 / VU and area school choirs will present A Musical Revue on Feb. 25
VINCENNES, Ind. - The Vincennes University Department of Music will present A Musical Revue on Feb. 25, 4 p.m. (EST), at the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center. The concert is free and the public is invited to attend.
The concert will feature choirs from Vincennes University along with choir members from surrounding high schools, including Vincennes Lincoln, Washington, Loogootee, Mitchell, Red Hill (Bridgeport, IL), and Linton. High school choir members and soloists were selected through an audition process and by recommendation from their choir directors. The Revue is under the direction of Juliet Gilchrist who is a faculty member in the VU Music Department.
Musical presentations will include selections from the musicals “Wicked,” “Les Miserables,” “Newsies,” “Phantom of the Opera,” “Matilda,” and “Rent.”
