Media representatives are invited to attend ribbon-cutting ceremonies in December 2025 at several Indiana schools in Sullivan, Posey, Vanderburgh, and Dubois counties to commemorate Design and Innovation Studios funded by Vincennes University.

The Design and Innovation Studios are part of a broader initiative by VU to advance STEM education at the elementary and intermediate levels. These studios serve as dedicated spaces within schools, equipped with STEM technology.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 4, 2025

Carlisle Elementary School

Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony: 2-3 p.m. (ET)

Parking information: One main parking lot in front of building. Front door is next to the school sign and flag pole.

Mount Vernon Jr. High School

Westside Catholic Saint Boniface Campus

Parking information: It is best to use the parking lot that sits at the corner of Virginia and 10th streets. The main entrance faces Virginia St. There is a sign that says "Office Entrance" and to the right of the glass door a doorbell will connect you to a secretary.

South Terrace Elementary School

Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony: 1-1:45 p.m. (CT)

Parking information: South Terrace is off of Highway 66. Guests can park anywhere in the front parking lot that is directly off Haines Road.
