Welcome to the VU Auto Club!

August 17, 2026

Are you a gearhead, builder, or just a massive fan of all things automotive? The Vincennes University Auto Club is committed to creating a welcoming campus community where car and truck fanatics can feel right at home.

Whether you are studying Automotive Technology, restoring a classic in your spare time, or just love talking about horsepower and custom builds, the Auto Club is the perfect place to connect with students who share your passion.

What We Do

The Auto Club isn't just about sitting in a room talking about cars—we get our hands dirty and get involved on campus and in the local community. As a member, you can look forward to:

The Annual Fall Car Show: Our biggest event of the year! Held annually in mid-to-late October, we coordinate with the university’s athletics schedule to take over a campus parking lot for a massive car show that brings together students and the local Vincennes community to show off incredible rides.
Dyno Events & Meets: We regularly host and attend automotive events, including dyno days, where members can test performance and talk shop.
Educational Trips & Tours: We take our passion on the road. The club provides unique educational opportunities, organizing trips and exclusive tours to automotive-related events, races, and professional industry facilities.
Giving Back: We believe in using our passion for a good cause. A portion of the proceeds from our annual car show and concession sales goes directly back to the community and local charitable organizations.

Why Join the Auto Club?

College is about more than just classes; it's about the connections you make. Joining the Auto Club allows you to:

Find Your Crew: Hang out with a great social community of like-minded car lovers and builders.
Build Your Resume: Gain leadership and event-planning experience by helping organize our annual car show and club outings.
Network with the Industry: Our facility tours and educational trips are a great way to see the professional automotive industry up close and network for your future career.
