Faith, Fellowship & Community: Blazer Catholic

August 17, 2026

Welcome to Blazer Catholic!

Welcome to Blazer Catholic at Vincennes University! Operating through the Blazer Catholic Newman Center, our student organization provides a vibrant spiritual home where Trailblazers can encounter Christ, grow as disciples, and share the joy of salvation. We exist to bring the Gospel to life on campus through the rich living traditions of Catholic Christianity, active fellowship, and compassionate service.

What We Do & Our Purpose

Blazer Catholic brings students together to deepen their relationship with God and build strong community connections through spiritual, social, and service-oriented activities.

• Bible Studies & Faith Discussions: Participate in weekly small-group scripture studies and open discussions focused on applying Christian teachings to daily college life.

• Sacramental & Prayer Gatherings: Attend student Mass, adoration, confession, and group prayer sessions designed to cultivate a deep personal prayer life.

• Community Service & Outreach: Engage in local volunteer initiatives, charity projects, and mission work that put faith into action across Knox County.

• Social Events & Fellowship: Build lasting friendships through retreats, shared dinners, game nights, and social outings hosted at the Newman Center.
