CRITICAL CONFIRMED

10 - sided dice on a game board

August 17, 2026

Welcome to a world of adventure!

Step into a world of fantasy, strategy, and adventure! Critical Confirmed is Vincennes University’s official tabletop gaming and Dungeons & Dragons club. Whether you are a seasoned Dungeon Master, a veteran card-game strategist, or someone who has never rolled a 20-sided die in your life, Critical Confirmed is your home on campus to gather, play, and build unforgettable stories with fellow gamers.

What We Do & Our Purpose

  • Critical Confirmed was created to provide a safe, inclusive, and exciting environment for students to explore all facets of gaming. Our primary focus areas include:
  • Dungeons & Dragons Campaigns: We host regular tabletop RPG sessions driven by student Dungeon Masters. DMs have full creative freedom across any edition of D&D or other tabletop systems.
  • Tabletop & Board Game Nights: Beyond D&D, we host casual gaming nights featuring popular board games, tile-based strategy games, card games, and traditional video games.
  • Learn-to-Play Workshops: Interested in tabletop games but don't know where to start? We host guided game nights to teach new players character creation, gameplay mechanics, and rule sets in an easy, relaxed setting.
  • Campus Events & Socials: From Halloween costume contests and holiday socials to special gaming excursions and themed campus nights, we keep the energy going all year round.

Why Join Critical Confirmed?

  • A Welcoming Community: Connect with creative, like-minded friends who share your passion for storytelling, world-building, and gaming.
  • Stress-Free Fun: Take a break from textbooks and exams to relax, immerse yourself in new worlds, and blow off steam between classes.
  • Develop Creative & Critical Thinking Skills: Tabletop gaming builds teamwork, creative problem-solving, strategic thinking, and public speaking skills.
  • Lead Your Own Adventures: Have a campaign idea? Become a Dungeon Master or Event Coordinator and gain valuable event planning and leadership experience.

Who Can Join?

Critical Confirmed is open to all Vincennes University students, regardless of major or experience level. Game sessions and club events welcome everyone from complete beginners to master strategists.
