Welcome to the Engineering Club!

Welcome to the Engineering Club at Vincennes University! Our organization brings together creative minds, problem solvers, and aspiring innovators who share a passion for design, technology, and real-world problem-solving. We exist to build a collaborative campus community where students can apply classroom theories to hands-on engineering projects and launch successful technical careers.

What We Do & Our Purpose

The Engineering Club provides VU students with opportunities to expand their technical expertise and build meaningful connections across STEM fields.

  • Hands-On Engineering Projects: Collaborate on team-based design challenges, robotics builds, and technical prototyping projects that put engineering principles into practice.

The Engineering Club is open to all Vincennes University students regardless of major, class standing, or technical background. Whether you are enrolled in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, or simply have a curiosity about how things work, no prior engineering experience is required—just an interest in learning and innovating!

The Engineering Club is guided by Gary Lee Johns. Advisor Johns supports student members by mentoring project teams, facilitating connections with industry partners, and assisting student leaders in organizing club activities and events.
