Mason Ellis

Mason Ellis is both a 2019 and 2023 Vincennes University graduate whose strength and service reflect our motto: “Learn in Order to Serve.”

At 17, Mason sustained a spinal cord injury resulting in quadriplegia. Determined to live life fully, he now inspires thousands through his YouTube channel, offering resources on independence and adaptive living to more than 11,000 followers. Professionally, Mason is an IT Specialist Account Manager at NSWC Crane and was honored as one of only seven nationwide recipients—and the sole representative of the Department of the Navy—of the Department of Defense Workforce Recruitment Award.

As a Peer and Family Support Mentor with the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, he’s guided more than 20 individuals navigating spinal cord injuries. Mason Ellis continues to inspire our community and exemplify the enduring spirit of Vincennes University.
