Alfred R. & Helen M. Friesenhengst Scholarship

Eligibility requirements

  • Minimum 2.5 GPA

  • Minimum 12 credit hours per semester

  • Can be in any year of study

  • Can be enrolled in any major

  • Must be a graduate of Shoals High School

Renewability Requirements

  • Scholarship allows two years at VU and apply for renewal for an additional two years

How to Apply

  • Complete the VU Admissions Application by January 15th each year for Priority Deadline. After this date, scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis.
  • Apply for or update your FAFSA
  • Recipients will be notified via email
