Eligibility requirements

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA

  • Minimum 6 credit hours per semester

  • Can be in any year of study, traditional or non-traditional student

  • Must be enrolled as a health care related major

  • Must meet eligibility requirements as a part-time or full-time employee of Good Samaritan Hospital (.4 FTE or higher) or participate in the Student Volunteer Program with a minimum of 100 hours volunteered in the previous 12 months

  • Must meet employment obligations and make a one-year full-time work commitment to Good Samaritan Hospital if a position is available and the recipient is selected for the position.

How to Apply

  • Complete the VU Admissions Application by January 15th each year for Priority Deadline. After this date, scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis.
  • Apply for or update your FAFSA
  • Recipients will be notified via email
