Hilda Ruxer Memorial Nursing Scholarship

Nursing students practice a medical scenario using a hospital bed mannequin, while an instructor supervises and demonstrates proper technique in a clinical lab setting.

Eligibility requirements

  • Minimum 2.0 GPA

  • Minimum 12 credit hours per semester

  • Can be in any year of study

  • Must be enrolled as a nursing major

  • Consideration will be for students not receiving Federal and/or State aid

How to Apply

  • Complete the VU Admissions Application by January 15th each year for Priority Deadline. After this date, scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis.
  • Apply for or update your FAFSA
  • Recipients will be notified via email
