Eligibility requirements

  • Minimum 2.0 GPA

  • Minimum 6 credit hours per semester

  • Must be a first or second year student, traditional or non-traditional

  • Must be enrolled as a family and consumer science major

  • Primary consideration to Knox County residents then other counties

How to Apply

  • Complete the VU Admissions Application by January 15th each year for Priority Deadline. After this date, scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis.
  • Apply for or update your FAFSA
  • Recipients will be notified via email
