Richard S. Lawless, DDS Scholarship

Eligibility requirements

  • Minimum 3.5 high school GPA, maintain 3.0 college GPA

  • Minimum 6 credit hours per semester

  • Must be a first-time student

  • Must be enrolled as a business, math, science or other major as directed by the donor major

  • Must be a graduate of Lawrenceville High School in Lawrenceville, Illinois

  • If multiple applicants meet the criteria, the one with the highest academic credentials will receive the award

Renewability Requirements

  • Scholarship recipients are eligible for renewal consideration with letter of request, scholarship application and all criteria met at all times

How to Apply

  • Complete the VU Admissions Application by January 15th each year for Priority Deadline. After this date, scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis.
  • Apply for or update your FAFSA
  • Recipients will be notified via email
