The Matthew Bowman Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility requirements

  • Minimum 2.0 GPA

  • Minimum 12 credit hours per semester

  • Must be a first-time student

  • Must be enrolled as a theatre arts, sports medicine, or photojournalism major

  • Must be a VU-bound graduate of Vincennes Lincoln High School graduating in the academic year prior to attending VU

  • Recipients must have participated in one or more of the following activities:
    • Vincennes Lincoln High School Stage/Theatre Arts
    • Sports Medicine/Manager/Trainer
    • Photojournalism

How to Apply

  • Complete the VU Admissions Application by January 15th each year for Priority Deadline. After this date, scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis.
  • Apply for or update your FAFSA
  • Recipients will be notified via email
