Trent D. Horrall Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility requirements

  • Minimum 2.75 GPA

  • Minimum 12 credit hours per semester

  • Must be a first-time student

  • Must be enrolled as a construction technology or surveying technology major

  • Must be a graduate of either Washington High School in Washington, Indiana, or Pike Central High School in Petersburg, Indiana.

  • Recipients who also played basketball for four years in high school will be preferred during the selection process by the committee.

  • Students who have lost a parent or currently have a parent battling cancer may receive additional consideration during the selection process.

How to Apply

  • Complete the VU Admissions Application by January 15th each year for Priority Deadline. After this date, scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis.
  • Apply for or update your FAFSA
  • Recipients will be notified via email
