VU Opportunity Scholarship

Eligibility requirements

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA

  • Minimum 6 credit hours per semester

  • Must be a first-time student or transfer student

  • Can be enrolled in any major

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident

  • Complete 30 credit hours per academic year at Vincennes University

  • Submit their resume and an essay addressing academic achievement, leadership in organizations and activities

  • Complete the annual FAFSA application

Award

  • $1,000
  • Students may receive the scholarship for more than one year after reapplying

How to Apply

  • Complete the VU Admissions Application by January 15th each year for Priority Deadline. After this date, scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis.
  • Apply for or update your FAFSA
  • Recipients will be notified via email
