Eligibility requirements

  • Minimum 2.5 GPA

  • Minimum 12 credit hours per semester

  • Can be incoming freshmen or any semester

  • Must be enrolled as an English or English Education major

  • May be any traditional age student or adult learner

Award

  • The scholarship is a one-year scholarship to be split 50/50 between the fall and spring semesters.
  • Recipient will be awarded the scholarship on an as needed basis so long as the student(s) achieves the
    criteria listed.

  • Vincennes Campus

How to Apply

  • Complete the VU Admissions Application by January 15th each year for Priority Deadline. After this date, scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis.
  • Apply for or update your FAFSA
  • Recipients will be notified via email
