FOSTER CITY, Calif. - Vincennes University earned the No. 4 spot in the ranking of the best four-year colleges in Indiana, according to, an educational resource for prospective students.

The study highlights Vincennes University’s strong performance in affordability as the institution was ranked No. 1 most affordable in the state when it came to the raw cost of tuition and fees, and No. 5 for its average net price for middle-income students. also applauds VU for its vast array of degree programs. There is a plethora of online programs available at VU, with only four institutions statewide offering a larger catalog selection.

In the study each school was scored on a 100-point scale using the most recent data available from government sources and based on metrics such as tuition and fees, number of degrees and certificates offered, flexibility, student services, and rates of student graduation, retention, and transfer. VINCENNES UNIVERSITY - Indiana’s First College

VU is state-supported with campuses in Vincennes and Jasper and additional sites such as Indianapolis, Lebanon, and Gibson County. A leader in developing Early Colleges statewide, VU also offers instruction at military sites throughout the nation.
