March 20, 2017 / VU speaker will address farm commodity marketing on March 23
VINCENNES, Ind. - Farm commodity marketing will be the subject of a March 23 presentation by farm marketing specialist Naomi Blohm. She will speak at 6 p.m. EST in the Fort Sackville Room at VU’s Beckes Student Union. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Blohm is an expert at advising farmers how to manage their cash marketing needs and properly use futures and options. She also helps farmers understand the importance of managing basis, delivery point considerations, cash flow needs, and storage capacity. She is a co‐creator and presenter of Women to Women: Educating Women About Farm Marketing.
She earned her bachelor of arts in Political Science with a minor in Agriculture Business at the University of Wisconsin in Platteville. She has a master of science in Adult Education with an emphasis in Ag Economics, University of Wisconsin, and a master certificate in Global Education, University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh.
