This program is designed to provide the first two years of preparation in sports studies. Areas of study emphasis may be sports administration, sports marketing and management, sports media, aquatics, recreational sports, and others. Certain of these areas may require specialized course selections at Vincennes University and/or the transfer institution of student choice.
Vincennes University recognizes the significance of the $200 billion sports marketing management industry and the demand in the sports community for well-prepared professionals. The Sport Studies program option is designed to provide the first two years of preparation for a variety of sports related careers including, sports administration, sport marketing and management, sport media, recreational sports, and others. This program allows students to explore traditional and unique sports-related careers through courses that include: physical education, health, recreation, business, communication, as well as other areas that will enhance development of special career interests.
