What can I do with this degree?

Survey managers lead teams on various boundary, construction, and land development projects. They are in charge of planning and directing daily activities of the survey field crews, office surveyors, and CAD technicians ensuring resources are used to meet the needed requirements. Survey managers prepare survey scope, fees, and schedules and provide technical guidance, training, and support to their team. Also, they evaluate, verify, and certify survey computations for technical accuracy and quality control. Upon successful completion VU graduates will possess the needed leadership, communication, planning, teamwork, decision-making, and problem-solving skills needed to be successful in this role.
