LEGAL STUDIES, A.S.

Students can earn an associate degree in Legal Studies, which helps to prepare them for various careers in the legal field. Courses are taught by licensed attorneys and offer opportunities to discuss and study the constantly changing legal landscape in the United States. Graduates of the program with an associate degree may earn a bachelor’s degree at VU in the Homeland Security Department or transfer to a four-year university before attending law school.

Legal Studies Student Testimonial

"Professor Hudson has been an excellent professor and mentor to myself and many other students. Not only has the Legal Studies program prepared me for law school, it has prepared me for many opportunities in the legal field such as internship opportunities and events such as Appeals on Wheels. Additionally, Professor Hudson has helped me with law school applications and preparing for the LSATS."
