Refunds and Fastpass

Refunds of excess financial aid (grants, scholarships, and loans) will be disbursed to students up to 14 days after the start of classes or up to 14 days after the funds have been posted to students' VU accounts. If you haven’t already done so, go to VUX and sign up for direct deposit for any possible refunds by following the directions below.

Direct Deposit Sign Up Directions

1. Login to VUX.
2. Locate the “Student Account” card.
3. Click the + sign by Student Refund Enrollment.
4. Click Sign Up Now for Electronic Refund.
5. This will take you to your Transact Account Overview page.
6. Click the “Sign Up” button under Sign up for direct deposit refunds!
7. Follow the online instructions, and you will receive an email confirmation.

Refunds for Parent Plus Loans

PLUS loans will be disbursed to student accounts. If there is an excess of the Parent loan, a refund will be sent to the student or directly to the parent based on the refund option selected by the parent when completing the PLUS application.
