VU ID

Transition to VU ID

Students who already have a BlazerOne card will continue to use it as their official VU ID. This card handles ID card services, such as checking out library books or using a meal plan in Tecumseh dining center (a VU ID is required to enter). New students who do not have a BlazerOne card will receive a new VU ID card at Trailblazer Kickoff or the start of the fall semester. Students at the Vincennes campus should go to the Student Financial Services Office to pick up their VU ID, while students at the Jasper campus should go to the Administrative Office.

Please visit the Refunds and Fastpass page for more information on the new student refund process and how to enroll.

Students who do not have a BlazerOne card or VU ID still need to have their picture taken. To submit a photo online, log in to your VU-X account (Google Chrome is the preferred browser), go to the “Upload Student ID Photo” card, and click on the picture. Please read the guidelines carefully and follow the directions to submit your photo.

If you previously activated your BankMobile account as a Vibe Account, those banking services continue to be available to you through BankMobile. However, please understand that you still need to enroll in direct deposit refunds on VU-X for any future refunds for which you are be eligible. For questions regarding your existing Vibe account with BankMobile, contact 1-800-815-6109. You may also contact our office at 1-812-888-4361

Official Image Requirements

Yes, you can smile!

This should be a color photo taken on against a plain, light background. You should be facing directly ahead; please do not look down or to either side. Your photo should be cropped slightly above head to the middle of your chest. Head coverings for religious beliefs are acceptable, provided that the head covering shows a full view of the face, does not cast a shadow onto the face, and shows an overall pattern in the fabric or material (i.e., not a graphic design).

Prescription glasses may be worn for the photo; however, there should be no reflections from the eyeglasses that obscure the eyes. Dark glasses or nonprescription glasses with tinted lenses are not acceptable unless they are needed for medical reasons; a medical certificate may be required.  No hats are allowed. The key requirement for your ACCESS card image is that the photo clearly identifies you, the cardholder.
