Two Ways to Make an Immediate Impact

  1. The Blazers Give Fund
    • The Blazers Give Fund provides vital, unrestricted funding directly to the University’s areas of greatest need, ensuring our students and faculty have the resources required to excel today.
      • The Torchbearer Level
        • Join a dedicated group of supporters with an annual gift of $1,000 to the Blazers Give Fund.
      • President's Circle
        • Recognized with a generous gift of $10,000.
  1. The VU Society
    • The VU Society is an honorary society of donors who contribute unrestricted funds to the Foundation. It was established to demonstrate our deep appreciation for those who understand the vital importance of flexible giving which drives our entire purpose.
      • Donor Benefits
        • Society contributions are motivated by a pure desire to see VU thrive via the work
          of the VU Foundation. While donors receive tax benefits and exclusive university
          updates, the greatest dividend is the profound impact of your investment in the
          lives of our students on behalf of the work of the VU Foundation.

Levels & Partnerships

VU Society Giving Levels

Donors can contribute to many levels of the VU Society Fund, VU Foundation’s unrestricted giving fund:

Member Benefits

Contributions to the Society are unrestricted charitable gifts which are motivated by a desire to support the University’s mission and the donors do not expect anything of material value in return. The most important dividend they receive as a result of their “investment” in the work of VU is the good feeling they have about themselves for having helped. Tax laws allow them to receive tax benefits as a result of their gifts and the Foundation takes special steps to keep them informed about new developments at the University.
